Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the Announcement on the Approval and Publication of Foreign-Language Editions of 233 National Standards, Including the National Technical Code for the Safety of Electrical Equipment (Announcement No. 29 of 2026) and the Announcement on the Approval and Publication of 508 Recommended National Standards and One Amendment to a Recommended National Standard, Including Hot-Rolled Plates and Strips of High-Quality Carbon Structural Steel (Announcement No. 29 of 2026).

Among them, one national standard and two foreign-language editions of national standards related to the sewing machinery industry have been approved and published. The details are as follows:
The publication of these three national standards represents an important milestone in the internationalization and digitalization of standardization in China's sewing machinery industry. The official publication of the foreign-language editions of the two terminology standards will effectively standardize the use of basic terminology in the sewing machinery industry both in China and abroad, remove language barriers to technical exchanges and trade cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises, and provide strong support for Chinese sewing equipment manufacturers to compete more effectively in global markets. The publication of the national standard Electrical Equipment of Machines—Digital Control System for Sewing Machinery—Part 2: Data Dictionary focuses on the underlying data specifications of CNC systems for sewing equipment. It establishes a unified technical framework for interoperability and data exchange in sewing machinery and fills a gap in the standardization of CNC data within the industry.
Going forward, the Secretariat of the Standardization Technical Committee will actively organize publicity and implementation activities for the standards, helping enterprises understand and master the requirements of the newly published standards in a timely and accurate manner, accelerating their implementation, and further promoting technological progress and improvements in product quality across the industry.
