To gain an in-depth understanding of the annual development of industry enterprises, learn about their next-stage development plans, and solicit opinions and suggestions regarding the industry’s 15th Five-Year Plan, Yang Xiaojing, Chairman of the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA), conducted research visits in Guangzhou and Foshan from January 5 to 6. During the visit, he also toured the Guangzhou Yangwanyong Professional Sewing Equipment Market and held a symposium with distributor representatives.

Based on the overall findings of the research, in 2025—amid the continued relocation of downstream industries, reduced orders, and insufficient operating rates—trading enterprises such as Jiangnan, Sanyang, Shunxing, and Yihui responded proactively. By strengthening coordination between manufacturers and distributors, expanding sales channels, deepening service responsiveness, and upgrading equipment performance through retrofitting, these companies upheld value-based marketing within a saturated market, actively maintained market order, and continuously refined their operations around the industry’s characteristics of “small batches with fast turnaround” and specialized division of labor, thereby achieving steady development against the odds.
Manufacturing enterprises including Jinaoyu, Ruizhou, and Kuangdun also delivered impressive results in 2025 and clarified their future development directions and pathways:
Jinaoyu focused on tape-binding machine products, achieving breakthroughs in key technologies through R&D innovation and significantly enhancing automation and system integration. Its production and sales value increased by more than 60% year-on-year. Going forward, Jinaoyu will accelerate the application and integration of AI technologies in the actual downstream production processes of embroidery machines, empowering improvements in equipment performance and operability, and has formulated strategic plans and concrete implementation steps to further strengthen core brand capabilities.
Ruizhou adhered to a mid-to-high-end market positioning and continued to deepen its presence in niche segments, achieving notable progress in product innovation, market expansion, and service upgrading. Its annual sales have remained steadily above RMB 100 million, and it has secured a solid foothold in cutting applications for new materials such as graphene and carbon fiber. Looking ahead, Ruizhou will focus its strategic layout on three key directions: breakthroughs in core technologies, coordinated extension across upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain, and green, low-carbon transformation.
Kuangdun (Kuangbo Intelligent Manufacturing), leveraging more than 40 years of experience in textile and apparel manufacturing, has built competitive advantages around technological innovation, continuously increased R&D investment, and achieved leapfrog growth over several consecutive years, becoming a benchmark for traditional industry transformation recognized by the government. In the future, Kuangdun plans to build a “Dream Factory,” extending into new markets and application fields through forward-looking and experimental technological iterations, and accelerating its transformation into a comprehensive intelligent manufacturing service provider.

Chairman Yang Xiaojing spoke highly of the strong confidence and development potential demonstrated by trading enterprises in responding to challenges, and fully affirmed the phased achievements made by manufacturing enterprises.
Chairman Yang emphasized that with the formal launch of the national “AI+” initiative, and as AI applications become more widespread alongside the maturation of foundational elements such as algorithms and computing power, manufacturing sectors including sewing machinery and textile and apparel are entering a new phase of development opportunities for transformation and upgrading. He expressed the hope that sewing machinery enterprises will remain committed to their core businesses, innovation-driven development, market expansion, and integrated development; seize opportunities arising from national industrial policies; and leverage their early-mover advantages in areas such as modularization, system integration, intelligent production lines, digital-intelligent workshops, and whole-factory solutions. Guided by market demand, driven by innovation, and starting from the expansion of application scenarios, enterprises should address users’ pain points by providing personalized and customized services, strengthen their core advantages, emphasize upstream–downstream coordination and strategic linkage across the industrial chain, and—with the determination and action to “dig ten thousand meters deep”—stabilize their core businesses while opening up new growth tracks. By further deepening, refining, and differentiating their capabilities, enterprises can achieve high-quality development and help the industry cultivate new high-quality productive forces.
Shao Lishi, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber of Commerce, accompanied the research visit.
