On November 20, 2025, the Party Branch of the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA) held a general meeting of Party members to elect the new branch committee. All Party members attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Secretary Yang Xiaojing, representing the 7th Branch Committee, presented a work summary. He highlighted that over the past three years, under the leadership of the higher-level Party committee, the branch focused on improving members’ theoretical understanding, strengthening comprehensive Party governance, and supporting post-pandemic industry recovery. Through practical grassroots Party-building initiatives, the branch fostered a healthy political environment within the association, effectively promoted team development, and guided the association’s work toward innovation and new achievements. Key accomplishments include: 1. Strengthening political guidance and raising political awareness. Over the past three years, the branch has implemented the principle that “building the Party is the greatest achievement” across the association’s guidance, coordination, and service work, integrating the CPC Central Committee’s policies with industry development issues to achieve practical results and promote high-quality industry development. 2. Serving national strategies and promoting integration of politics and industry. The branch has closely followed the reform initiatives of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, focused on macro-industry fundamentals, aligned with the association’s annual priorities, and applied theoretical learning to practical industry development work, demonstrating bold innovation and courageous practice. 3. Improving work mechanisms and consolidating “two modernization” achievements. The branch continuously strengthened theoretical learning, improved institutional frameworks, consolidated work foundations, and enriched Party-building methods. This enhanced the branch’s cohesion and appeal. In 2025, the CSMA Party Branch was awarded the title of “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization” by national industry association authorities. 4. Exercising self-discipline and risk prevention. The branch actively carried out risk control, strengthened disciplinary awareness, promoted rectification and self-criticism, and ensured that branch committee members led by example, fulfilling their “dual responsibility” obligations. The leadership team achieved a high standard of rigor and discipline.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, the Regulations on Party Branch Work (Trial), and the Regulations on Grassroots Organization Elections, the meeting conducted a secret ballot and competitive election, electing the 8th Committee of the CSMA Party Branch. Yang Xiaojing, Chen Ji, and Liu Min were elected branch committee members. At the first meeting of the 8th Committee, Yang Xiaojing was elected Branch Secretary, with Chen Ji serving as Organization Member and Liu Min as both Advocacy Member and Discipline Inspection Member.

Secretary Yang Xiaojing introduced the work plan for the 8th Committee. He emphasized that, in light of China’s modernization goals and the “15th Five-Year Plan,” the new branch committee faces the urgent task of leveraging the Party branch as a stronghold, leading both Party-building work and practical implementation of association initiatives, and promoting the “Four Services” effectively. Under the leadership of the higher-level Party committee and guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress and subsequent plenary sessions, the 8th Committee will: Deepen study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthen theoretical learning, and reinforce members’ ideals and beliefs; Consolidate “two modernization” foundations and ensure Party-building is conducted according to regulations; Improve work quality, innovate working methods, and enhance internal governance while maintaining red-line principles; Strengthen the Party branch’s political core and combat readiness, and promote members as exemplary models, providing solid political, ideological, and organizational support for the association’s business development.
