2025 Sewing Machinery Industry Standard Discussion Meeting Successfully Held

On April 23, the Sewing Machinery Industry Standard Discussion Meeting was held at Taizhou Jack Technology Co., Ltd. Over 60 members and representatives from the entire sewing machinery standards committee and the sewing machinery electrical control subcommittee attended the meeting, which was moderated by Xu Dong, Vice Secretary-General of the China Sewing Machinery Association.

Chen Ji provided a detailed introduction on the key tasks and work for the 2025 standards in the sewing machinery industry. The main tasks are as follows: First, to orderly complete the revision of standards, with 18 standards currently under development, including 4 national standards and 8 industry standards that need to be approved by the end of the year, along with several standards requiring preliminary research; second, to complete the summary of the 14th Five-Year Plan for industry standards and organize the planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan for industry standards; third, to proceed with the re-election of the two industry standard organizations. He hopes that all members and enterprises will actively fulfill their duties, collaborate closely, and complete the annual work with high quality, making new contributions to the development of the industry.

The meeting discussed seven standards, including the following: "Mechanical Electrical Equipment - Digital Control Systems for Sewing Machinery Part 2: Data Dictionary", "Sewing Machinery Product Inspection Rules", "Sewing Machinery Terminology - Control System Terminology", "Sewing Machine Frame General Technical Conditions", "Sewing Machine Table General Technical Conditions", "Sewing Machinery Terminology Part 1: General Terms", and the foreign language versions of "Sewing Machinery Terminology Part 3: Fabric Cutting Equipment Terminology". The attendees had in-depth and detailed discussions on these draft standards, covering aspects such as the scope of applicability of the standards, the precision of terminology definitions, the rationality of performance indicators, the operability of inspection procedures and methods, and the accuracy of English translations. Many practical and feasible suggestions for amendments were made. The meeting also discussed the next phase of the work for the formulation and revision of industry standards.

During the meeting, the on-site representatives visited Jack Technology Co., Ltd and exchanged ideas.
