To gain an in-depth understanding of the development status of industry enterprises after the New Year, during February 20th to 21st, Yang Xiaojing, Chairman of the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA), visited sewing equipment companies such as Promaker, Dahao, Xinsheng, and CharFane in Zhuji and Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. During the visits, he held discussions with relevant company leaders regarding their production, sales, research, and development plans and initiatives for the year.

Based on the overall feedback, the surveyed companies are all off to a strong start in 2025. The embroidery machine market continues to experience strong sales, with Xinxing and Promaker having set new all-time sales records. As a result, their production schedules for this year are already filled through the second half of the year. After the New Year, CharFane has entered an overtime phase to meet demand. In response to the growing demand and to expand production capacity, companies have ramped up recruitment efforts post-New Year, with Pumeike having hired over 100 new employees. Dahao is accelerating its digital and intelligent upgrades, having developed an application that combines “robotic arms + AI technology + vision” for use in quality inspection.

Chairman Yang Xiaojing noted that this investigation revealed a strong sense of confidence and motivation among enterprises for the new year. Each company is committed to research and innovation, scaling up production, clarifying development strategies, tapping into internal growth drivers, and aligning development goals, demonstrating significant momentum and potential for growth.

Regarding the future development of industry enterprises, Chairman Yang Xiaojing emphasized two key requirements:
First, Adhere to Innovation-Driven Strategies and Enhance Product Quality Supply:
Faced with diverse demands across different markets and levels, equipment manufacturers must consistently drive innovation by integrating R&D into user workshops, ensuring targeted innovation based on actual needs. They should accelerate the integration of digital technologies and new achievements into sewing equipment, speed up the transformation of these achievements, and continuously enhance product capabilities. This will enable value transmission and creation, leveraging modern information technology, digital technology, and intelligent applications to transform traditional processes and support the transformation and upgrading of downstream industries.
Second, Embrace the Dual-Circulation Development Pattern and Accelerate Expansion in Two Dimensions:
On one hand, companies should expand the application fields and scenarios of their equipment, actively connecting with new industries and business opportunities to broaden market boundaries. On the other hand, they should adopt a global perspective, accelerating the layout and consolidation of both domestic and international markets to build a new dual-circulation development pattern where domestic and international markets mutually reinforce each other. The association will actively respond to the concerns and needs of enterprises by organizing investigations into key overseas markets such as the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, and Egypt within the year, helping companies expand globally.
