On April 22, 2024 Hannover Messe, with the theme of "Energizing a Sustainable Industry", officially kicked off. In order to help enterprises to better understand the development and application of cutting-edge technologies around the world, learn about the novel concepts and development orientations globally, strengthen the exchange and collection of technical information in the machinery manufacturing industry, and boost the integration and development of new technology and applications, China Sewing Machinery Association organized a delegation of 32 representatives from 22 companies to visit the exhibition in Germany and exchange ideas. The delegation was headed by Yang Xiaojing, chairman of CSMA, as well as Wu Jiling, vice chairman of CSMA.
The theme of Hannover Messe, i.e. " Energizing a Sustainable Industry " reveals its focus on innovative and pioneering products and solutions. Revolving around trending ideas and technologies like Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, 5G, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and energy supply, the exhibition encompasses industrial automation products, industrial electronic products, electrical and logistics, digitalization products and technologies, etc.
During the visit, Wang Jian, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Science and Technology Automation Alliance, accompanied the delegation and explained in detail digital twins, industrial 5G, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, etc. Company representatives from Flying Tiger, YinGong, Maya, Typical, Zoje, Dahao, and Juita said that after learning the current status and trends of global industrial technology, they have developed more in-depth ideas and thinking. Many advanced technologies such as smart warehousing, smart sensing and information collection, and robot applications are urgently needed. If those techs are effectively integrated with sewing machines, companies can improve production planning, process optimization, logistics inventory management, etc.
Yang Xiaojing pointed out that this visit has created an opportunity for Chinese sewing enterprises to have access to cutting-edge technology abroad and explore industry development trends. Hannover Messe signals the development direction of global industrial manufacturing, especially the automation of manufacturing processes. It provides a very clear reference for the following growth of the sewing machinery industry. It is expected that delegation members can establish direct contact with international counterparts, and truly gain something from the craftsmanship, technology, concepts, trends on display.
