CSMA Delegation Visits Texprocess 2026 Exhibition

To enhance international technical exchanges and economic cooperation, the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA) organized an industry delegation to visit the Texprocess 2026 International Textile and Flexible Materials Sewing and Processing Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 21-25. The delegation, led by Chen Ji, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CSMA, included over 20 key representatives from 14 domestic sewing machinery companies.

The theme of this year’s Texprocess exhibition was “From Creative Ideas to Practical Results.” More than 200 exhibitors showcased the latest products and solutions in design, cutting, sewing, embroidery, joining, printing, dyeing, ironing, and warehousing, focusing on trends such as flexible manufacturing, intelligent sewing, and sustainable production. Over twenty Chinese companies, including Shanggong Shenbei, Jack, Standard, Kuangbo, Xinsheng, and Yuelong, participated in the exhibition.

Compared to previous years, Texprocess 2026 had a noticeably smaller scale, but still attracted about 30,000 professional visitors from over 100 countries and regions. During the event, several thematic activities were also held, including the Innovation Award selection, the "AI Empowering Fashion – From Digital to Physical End-to-End Ecosystems" forum, and discussions on "Circular Design and Sustainable Processing."

The delegation carefully observed the products and technological solutions exhibited by participating companies and engaged in extensive on-site exchanges with international counterparts. Many members of the delegation commented that the visit broadened their perspectives and deepened their understanding of the global trends in the sewing machinery industry. Chen Ji emphasized that as one of the major exhibitions in the global sewing equipment sector, Texprocess has a significant influence on the development of the global sewing industry chain and is an important platform for Chinese sewing machinery companies to integrate into the world market. Many domestic enterprises showcased AI-powered sewing machines, smart sewing, embroidery, and cutting equipment at the exhibition, which garnered considerable attention and recognition from users in regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. This highlights the growing core competitiveness of China's sewing machinery industry. Chen Ji expressed hope that the industry would continue to work hard, focusing on the diversity of market demand and the key tasks of the "15th Five-Year Plan," further strengthening the R&D and innovation of core technologies and products, accelerating the expansion of overseas markets, and solidifying and enhancing the industry's leadership in the global sewing machinery industry chain.

During the visit, the delegation also visited the world-renowned German company, Sonar, which specializes in automotive components, for further exchanges and discussions.
