CSMA Holds CISMA2025 Summary Meeting

To better serve exhibitors and visitors and build an internationally first-class industry exhibition platform, the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA) Secretariat held the CISMA2025 Summary Meeting on October 10, 2025. Yang Xiaojing, Chairman of CSMA, attended the meeting and delivered a concluding speech. The meeting was chaired by Chen Ji, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CSMA.

The meeting provided a comprehensive summary of all aspects of CISMA2025, covering exhibitor recruitment, on-site services, publicity and promotion, and logistical support, as well as major sections such as the Opening Ceremony, International Cooperation and Development Forum, Science and Technology Innovation Forum, Overseas Strategic Distributors Selection, National College CNC Competition, and the Thematic Demonstration Product Awards. Each project leader presented their respective reports, identifying highlights and innovations while candidly reflecting on shortcomings, proposing systematic improvement measures, and offering practical suggestions for future work.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Yang Xiaojing highly commended the achievements of CISMA2025. He emphasized that despite the challenges of a downward global economy, rising trade protectionism, and accelerated industrial restructuring, this year’s exhibition still delivered an inspiring and high-quality performance. He summarized the event as follows:

• A show that boosted industry confidence. The number of visitors, professional buyers, and overseas attendees all grew significantly, injecting strong momentum into the recovery and growth of the industry and its downstream value chain.
• A show that showcased technological innovation. A wave of new products, technologies, and solutions emerged, with AI-driven applications and robotics technology standing out as highlights—marking a new stage of innovation-led development in the industry.
• A show that achieved new breakthroughs. The exhibition reached a record 160,000 square meters, attracted over 100,000 visitors including 10,000+ from overseas, and introduced the new PLUS section, which added fresh elements and vitality. CISMA2025 once again proved itself as a key platform for product display, information exchange, technology diffusion, international cooperation, and industrial collaboration, fully demonstrating the Association’s role in providing “Four Services.”
• A show that strengthened a professional team. The Secretariat team demonstrated strong organization, efficient service, smooth coordination, effective publicity, and thoughtful guest reception—showing professionalism, resilience, and teamwork capable of meeting challenges and achieving success.

While affirming the results, Chairman Yang also set forth the goal of “a second ascent”, calling on all members of the Secretariat to further improve their planning, organization, adaptability, and execution capabilities. He stressed the need to deepen the analysis and promotion of exhibition outcomes, accelerate technological trend studies, systematically summarize international cooperation experiences, and initiate the top-level design of CISMA2027 as early as possible. He also urged the Secretariat to review and refine the Q4 2025 work plan to ensure that all tasks are executed effectively and form a complete implementation cycle.
